Q. What is the turnaround time for a custom fire pit?
From order to delivery is typically 1-2 weeks, depending on where you are located.
We do a run of new custom fire pits every week at our workshop. That means, we prepare the designs and send them on a Monday, laser cut the fire pits on a Wednesday and then wrap and ship them on a Friday. Depending on where you are, it can take anything from 1-2 days to 4-6 days shipping time for more remote locations. We always try to communicate delivery timeframes and expectations frequently and in a timely manner.
As soon as the fire pit is shipped, we will send you a Tracking Link that will let you follow the delivery online.
Q. How big are your fire pits?
We have two main styles of fire pit here at MAX Fire Pits, our large square fire pit, and the smaller & more portable fire pit that is lighter and contains fewer parts. Both are made right here in Australia from high-quality 4mm Bluescope® steel, so you know they are built to last.

- Unique Locking Design
Unlike any other fire pit on the market, the MAX Fire Pit features a unique locking design that rotates and locks all of the parts together, allowing you to move the fire pit without it falling apart, or ashes falling out. Handy!
- Made from 4mm Bluescope® steel
Most fire pits on the market, are made overseas and imported to Australia in bulk. These are made from inferior 3mm mild steel, which has a tendency to warp and buckle under high heat.
Q. Is my design cut on all four sides for the base price?
YES! The base price includes the ONE design cut on all four sides. If you only want to have different designs on each side, then we need to charge a small fee to cover the artwork for each EXTRA design and for the preparation of the fire pit for laser cutting machine.
Q. What design can I have on my fire pit?
Our laser-cutting machine is one of the highest quality in the country, so we are able to cut almost any design you want. From footy team logos to names, dates and special messages we can do it all.

Q. Will my fire pit rust?
As with any form of steel, your fire pit may develop surface rust if left outdoors and unprotected from the elements. There is plenty of ways you can take care of your MAX Fire Pit and keep it nice and new. We’ve written an informative article about it here.
Q. Can I put my fire pit on grass or concrete?
Over a long period of time, a fire pit may damage your concrete surface in your concrete patio or outdoor area if you don’t take the right precautions and prepare the area properly. We'll send you a mockup
Our talented design team will put together a high-quality mockup of your firepit idea. Your mockup will show the firepit in 3D, with flames and everything! This way you will be able to see what it looks like before you make a purchase.
Order your fire pit online
Looks awesome right? Complete your purchase online and we’ll start production right away on your new firepit! Our design team will prepare the files, then we’ll cut it at our factory and get it carefully packed up and shipped to you. Easy!
